Empowerly seeks Middle School / Early High School College Admissions Counselors to guide students through the college admissions process, helping with road maps, applications, and feedback. We value experience as college counselors or admissions officers at top colleges, with graduates from top 50 colleges and a STEM background preferred.

Many students are in the San Francisco Bay Area and apply to top 50 colleges, including UCs and Ivy Leagues.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan around deadlines and manage multiple students.
• Experience advising high school students and families in college admissions.
• Track record of helping students gain acceptances to top universities.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through 6th-10th grades preparation and college admissions changes.
• Offer guidance on extracurriculars, summer plans, testing strategies and college lists.
• Provide application structure feedback, resume and essay review, and interview coaching.
• Coordinate with students and parents, maintain timely communication and meetings.
