Job summary

Manchester Community Music School in Manchester, NH seeks a part-time Collaborative Pianist to accompany the Women’s Choir, Queen City Voices Choir, and Queen City Concert Choir. The role includes accompanying students in two annual recitals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as an accompanist/collaborative pianist.
• Strong sight-reading skills; ability to learn music quickly.
• Experience collaborating and performing with individuals and groups in various musical settings.
• Organizational skills; dependable and timely.
• Cover letter addressing capabilities, experiences, and interests.

• Names and contact information for two references, with relationship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as accompanist for MCMS Women’s Choir, Queen City Voices Choir, and Queen City Concert Choir.
• Accompany students in two pre-scheduled recitals annually.
• Possibility to accompany additional recitals, events, and competitions (right of first refusal).
• Support other performances as needed.
