Job summary

Greater Boston Choral Consortium in Natick seeks a collaborative pianist for the 2026-2027 season, primarily accompanying kid and teen choirs. The ideal candidate is friendly, flexible, and skilled in a wide repertoire, from Broadway to classical.

Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm for youth ensembles and 7:00 to 8:15 pm for adult sectional work, with performances in December and May at Natick venues.

Qualifications

• Comfortable accompanying 8–18 year olds.
• Able to navigate a wide repertoire from Broadway to classical.

Responsibilities

• Accompany kids and teens during rehearsals (Wednesdays 4:30–6:30 pm) and adult sectional sessions (7:00–8:15 pm) on the first half of each semester.
• Support performances, including the December holiday concert and May spring concert at Natick venues.

We’re looking for a fun, flexible, and talented accompanist to join us for the 2026-2027 season, working primarily with our kid and teen sections of the choir. Skills needed:

• Comfortable working with 8yrs-18yr olds
• Navigate a wide repertoire of music—Broadway, pop, jazz, classical, and more

REHEARSALS:

• Wednesdays, September through May, from 4:30-6:30 pm to play for kids’ and teens’ ensembles and 7:00-8:15 to play for adult sectionals in the first half of each semester.
• Located in Natick Center at Common Street Spiritual Center

PERFORMANCES:

Holiday concert – December 11 and 12 (tentative)

Spring concert in early to mid-May, dates TBD, at Natick High School

This is a paid position with a stipend given each semester.
