Eventide Fargo Care Center in south Fargo, ND is seeking for a Coffee Shop Assistant to work part time 9a-2p, Monday - Friday. No weekends The Coffee Shop Assistant will greet and serve customers in the Coffee and Gift Shop (if applicable) in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.

The Coffee Shop Assistant is responsible for the overall day to day function of the Coffee Shop by preparing and/or directing the preparation of food and drinks to be served to all customers complying with all

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Food safety/sanitation course preferred or ability to certify (e.g., ServSafe).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents, staff and guests.
• Serve menu items according to portion control standards.
• Stock food and beverage items as assigned.
• Clean the shop including equipment, work areas and seating areas.
• Operate POS system: open/close cash, handle money, process payments.
• Operate coffee shop equipment and manage heat exposure near ovens/steamers.
• Plan and organize work to match service times.
• Assist with catering event preparation and setup.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols for storage and labeling.
