Job summary

Atrium Health Union West Maternity Unit is seeking a part-time Nurse Aide/Healthcare Technician to assist with patient care under RN supervision. Nights, 24 hours per week, with weekend and holiday requirements.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, vital signs, charting, basic procedures, and maintaining a safe environment. Requires high school diploma, Nurse Aide certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene and feeding.
• Takes vital signs and measures height/weight.
• Maintains clean and safe patient rooms.
• Observes and reports changes in condition.
