Job summary

MediLodge of Marshall is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a warm-hearted team. You will assist residents with daily living activities and provide basic nursing support under supervision.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, attention to resident comfort, and timely response to needs. Experience in long-term care is preferred, and Michigan CNA certification is required or in good standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Six months of long-term care experience (preferred).
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
• Assist residents with range of motion exercises and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assist residents with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assist residents with ambulation for short distances within the facility.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, as well as food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
