Job summary

Arvin Post Acute is seeking a dependable Part-Time Driver to transport residents to medical appointments and activities with safety and dignity. A certified CNA with a clean driving record and GPS familiarity is preferred, and flexibility is needed for late appointments and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified CNA with a valid license and active certification.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; insurability.
• Flexibility to work around appointments and activities.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments and activities.
• Assist residents entering/exiting vehicles and transferring to wheelchairs.
• Secure residents and wheelchairs inside vans; follow safety protocols.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and logs; report safety concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff.
