Cayuga Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time day shift at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, NY. The CNA provides patient care under supervision, assists with ADLs, and documents accurately in the EMR to support nursing staff.

Qualified candidates must hold NYS CNA certification, may have a High School Diploma or GED, and should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The role requires working every other weekend with a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• NYS CNA certification is required.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED, patient care experience, customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports nursing with tasks: answering call bells promptly, stocking rooms & carts.
• Assists patients with ADLs, morning/evening care, and general comfort measures.
• Prepares and helps patients with meals and nourishment; offers water.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Documents in EMR and Point Click Care.
