Job summary

Brethren Retirement Community is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on care for residents in a 12-hour shift schedule. Base pay ranges from $15.50 to $22.97 per hour, with an additional $2 shift differential for hours between 6pm and 6am.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and participating in restorative nursing programs while adhering to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be state-approved and listed as active on the Ohio Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living per the plan of care.
• Deliver and document Restorative Nursing Programs.
• Follow procedures for infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Report resident needs and changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and interact respectfully with residents and families.
