Job summary

The Moorings of Arlington Heights is a Presbyterian Living community in Arlington Heights, IL, seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time role in assisted living and skilled nursing. The shift is 7am-3pm, every other weekend, with an hourly rate of $20.35-$29.30 depending on experience and shift differentials.

You will provide direct and indirect care under supervision, assist residents with daily activities, and support a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Illinois CNA certification required.
• CPR certification required (American Heart Association).
• Ability to read/write and comprehend medical terminology.
• Strong communication skills for resident interaction.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic for care tasks.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carries out nursing care within scope of training as assigned by the charge nurse.
• Adheres to Presbyterian Homes standards of care in the nursing department.
• Protects residents' rights and dignity at all times.
• Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors to meet social needs.
