Job summary

Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Commack, NY is seeking part-time CNAs to join our caring team. You will assist residents with ADLs, provide personal care, and support daily living activities under supervision of licensed staff.

All positions are scheduled every other weekend with 7:00am-3:15pm, 3:00pm-11:15pm, or 11:00pm-7:15am shifts. A $1,250 bonus is offered for part-time CNAs hired; competitive benefits and on-site resources are provided.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Nurse Aide Registry certification.
• No findings of abuse or neglect on the registry.
• One year LTC experience and CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care and assistance with activities of daily living under supervision.
• Maintains resident areas, beds, and equipment in a clean, orderly manner.
• Responds to call lights and assists with transfers and mobility.
• Observes changes in residents and reports to the nurse.
