Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia is seeking a Part Time Certified Medication Aide to help residents with medications under licensed supervision. You will follow care plans, maintain MAR records and ensure safe storage, handling and disposal of medications.

Responsibilities include accurate order transcription, communication with pharmacies and families, and reporting any changes in resident condition. Prior LTC experience is a plus; informally, you will support a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• Assist with medication administration per policy and laws.
• Maintain accurate documentation and MAR records.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Communicate with pharmacy, providers and family as needed.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of assisted living medication policies and procedures.
• Read and follow medication orders and labels accurately.
• Document assistance and resident refusals per policy.
• Notify supervisor of medication concerns or errors promptly.
• Cooperate with pharmacy, physicians and families for clarity.
