Job summary

Westerfield Club in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, part of Troon, seeks a driven, part-time Bartender to join a fast-paced hospitality team. You will stock, mix and serve beverages, assist in inventory and cost control, and ensure compliance with liquor laws and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year bartending experience or training.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control and inventory.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates supplies needed to management.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions.
• Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule and events for changes.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Follows safe work practices and performs other duties as required.
