We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Clinician to join our GRIT team, a residential program providing structured, person-centered counseling and recovery-oriented services. This role focuses on supporting individuals (18+) with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The Clinician will work collaboratively with our skilled multidisciplinary team to help residents build the framework for long-term recovery and develop aftercare plans for a successful transition back into the community. The employee will be hired with an anticipated start date of May 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual therapy sessions with residents to address co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges
- Facilitate one clinical group per week, fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with the GRIT treatment team, which includes licensed clinicians, case managers, prescribers, and recovery staff, to create individualized recovery plans
- Support residents in their journey toward recovery, helping them build resilience, perseverance, and confidence
- Provide input on aftercare planning to ensure successful community reintegration
- Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with program guidelines

Requirements
- Must have a bachelor's or master's degree in social work, mental health, psychology or a related field
- LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LADC1 preferred
- Must be able to pass and obtain certifications in CPR and First Aid.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented treatment approaches
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid Driver's license, sufficient automobile insurance, acceptable driving record, and a safe reliable vehicle during working hours.
