Dr. Kristina Petersen’s lab in the Department of Nutritional Sciences is seeking a part‑time Clinical Research Coordinator to support externally funded clinical trials investigating dietary interventions and risk factors for heart disease and diabetes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate participant recruitment.
• Conduct telephone and clinic screenings.
• Coordinate data collection visits.
• Schedule visits.
• Manage participant flow through the trials.
• Perform research‑related administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Reliable, proactive, task‑oriented, attentive to detail.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in humans subjects research required.
• Prior experience in clinical trial coordination highly desired.
• Training will be provided for specific tasks.

Work Hours

Approximately 20 hours per week. Typical working hours Monday to Friday 6:45 am to 10:45 am. In‑person in State College, Pennsylvania.

Location & Work Arrangement

Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location. This is an in‑person job.
