Job summary

Center for Veterans Research and Education (CVRE) is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Assistant I to support IRB-approved projects by collecting and processing data. The role involves recruiting patients, coordinating study activities, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a Veterans-focused research environment.

The incumbent will administer assessments, manage documentation, and collaborate with the coordinating center to maintain project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or above in public health, sociology, psychology, or related allied health field.
• Active progress toward a degree in one of the mentioned areas.

Responsibilities

• Recruit patients to the study and perform screenings for criteria.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the study process.
• Communicate with the IRB and engage participants in the consent process.
• Administer computer-based assessments of psychosocial functioning and mental health.
• Maintain regulatory documents and develop systems improvements for the study.
• Organize outreach events with the local Veteran community and coordinate with study personnel at other sites.
