Job summary

Headlands Research is seeking a part-time Clinical Rater or Psychometrician to perform neurocognitive and psychiatric assessments in FDA-regulated trials at our San Juan, PR site. The role requires administration of standardized scales such as CDR and PACC-5, with sessions typically one 8-hour day per week or two 4-hour days.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Psychology or Nursing or an RN with relevant experience, and must be able to work onsite from Monday to Friday, 8:00

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Nursing, or related field required.
• RN license with 1+ year neurocognitive assessment experience.
• Bachelor’s in Psychology or related field with 1+ year trial experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and score study-specific standardized scales and tests.
• Conduct in-person cognitive, diagnostic, and clinical assessments.
• Maintain consistency to prevent rater drift and ensure data quality.
• Communicate findings with physicians, sponsors, CROs, and teams.
• Maintain documentation for assessments and activities.
• Identify and report safety concerns per policy.
• Offer referrals and resources to participants and families.
