Montu is recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our Winnersh team. The role involves prescribing and reviewing cannabis-based medicines for patients with complex conditions, with on-site evenings and weekends.

You will split time between on-site and remote work, contributing to patient care, education, and clinical pathway development. We are seeking a GPhC-registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber qualification and at least 2 years of prescribing

Qualifications

• GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification.
• At least 2 years prescribing experience.
• Experience working in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of CBPM is helpful but not essential or willingness to undergo specialised training.
• Clear and confident communicator across clinical and non-clinical settings.
• Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands.
• Proactive and resourceful when identifying and resolving problems.
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex workflows.

About the role:<\/h3>

We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our Winnersh team. This is a role, you will work 2-3 days (including the evenings and weekends) in our Winnersh office located in Winnersh Triangle. You will play a key part in prescribing and reviewing cannabis based medicines for patients with complex conditions.

The role requires on-site working during evenings and weekends

As a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) you will split your time between three days on site and two days working remotely. You will provide safe, effective and personalised treatment, supporting patients with a wide range of needs.

Collaboration is central to this role. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver outstanding patient care while also contributing to the development of clinical pathways. You will be involved in patient and staff education and play an active part in driving improvements in treatment outcomes within this rapidly growing field.

Key responsibilities:<\/h3>

As an On-Site Clinical Pharmacist, you will:
