Gwinnett Technical College invites applications for Adjunct Faculty - Associate Degree Nursing. This part‑time, non‑benefited, FLSA exempt role reports to the Program Director of Associate Degree Nursing and involves clinical instruction of 12‑24 hours per week per semester with supervision of students in clinical settings.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN or MSN and Georgia RN licensure; preferred: 3+ years RN clinical experience and 3‑5 years as a clinical instructor with diverse areas

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing OR Master’s degree in nursing.
• Must hold a current RN licensure in Georgia.
• Three years of recent RN clinical experience.
• Three to five years of experience as a clinical instructor.
• Medical surgical, Women’s Health, NICU, Mental Health and Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees students in a clinical rotation (70%).
• Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives. (5%).
• Completes clinical student evaluations /grades and evaluates all required student assignments. (5%).
• Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior. (10%).
• Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately. (5%).
• Performs other duties as assigned in the fulfillment of the needs, philosophy, and purpose of Gwinnett Technical College. (5%).
