Job summary

Joyce University in South Dakota is seeking experienced nursing professionals to join as Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty. The role involves teaching 1-2 clinical shifts per week at Western or Northern SD sites and applying bedside expertise to prepare tomorrow's nurses.

You'll mentor students in real-world settings, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in campus events. A current SD RN license and a Master\u2019s in Nursing are required, with 2-3 years of clinical nursing

Qualifications

• RN license (unencumbered) in the State of South Dakota.
• Masters degree in nursing.
• 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through hands-on clinical instruction in local healthcare facilities
• Inspire, mentor, and evaluate future nursing professionals
• Support student learning by identifying academic or behavioral challenges and offering remediation
• Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and program improvement
• Maintain professional growth and stay current with best practices in clinical practice
• Participate in university events including staff meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation
