Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty - Roanoke, Virginia

Chamberlain University, with a 130-year history, is dedicated to educating diverse healthcare professionals to improve health worldwide. We are seeking Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty to teach in our BSN program in Roanoke, Virginia.

This role involves mentoring students in person at an inpatient clinical setting located in the Salem, VA area, connecting classroom learning with real-world patient care. The schedule typically includes 3-4 consecutive 12-hour shifts over 1-2 weeks per 8-week session, with specific specialties such as Adult Health, Critical Care, Community Health, and others.

No prior teaching experience is required; solid clinical experience and a completed MSN are encouraged. Responsibilities include implementing curriculum, supervising students during clinical practice, providing feedback, and participating in program development. Qualifications include a master's or doctoral degree in Nursing, an active RN license in Virginia (and Illinois if teaching courses there), and at least two years of recent nursing experience.
