Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to assess nutrition status and implement the nutrition care process for inpatients and outpatients. Required: Bachelor’s Degree; RD with CDR; IL licensure within 6 months; Master’s preferred. Pay rate $30.01/hour; compensation varies by location, experience, and licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or Family & Consumer Science with ACEND requirements completed.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed as a Dietitian with Illinois—must obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutrition status of assigned patients and implement the nutrition care process.
• Monitor and evaluate nutrition interventions and adjust plans as needed.
• Perform nutrition-focused physical exams and document findings.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic diets and nutrition support.
• Provide infant formula preparation support as needed.
• Collaborate with an inter-disciplinary team to meet health goals.
