Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA is hiring a Part-Time Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting. You will work with a collaborative team to support patient outcomes and deliver education to patients, families, and staff.

The ideal candidate is an RDN or eligible for the CDR exam, with licensure in the state of practice and healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

RDN or CDR exam eligible
Licensed dietitian in state of practice as applicable
Healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform nutritional assessments and develop care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable wellness for patients, families, staff, and community
Evidence-Based Practice: Apply latest research in alignment with diet manual and facility protocols to ensure high-quality care
Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence
Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training
