Job summary

National Counseling Group is seeking a part-time Clinical Assessment Specialist in Henrico, VA. The role focuses on conducting Comprehensive Needs Assessments, completing intake documentation, and populating client profiles in the EHR with diagnoses, medications, and allergies.

Collaboration with guardians, service providers, and MCOs will ensure coordinated care. You will manage referrals, facilitate service authorizations, and provide timely support to internal teams.

Qualifications

• Requires Resident in Counseling or full Mental Health license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
• Master's degree required for role and licensure prerequisites.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CNA) with clients and guardians.
• Complete intake forms and maintain accurate client records in the EHR.
• Populate client profiles with diagnoses, medications, allergies, and other critical data.
• Coordinate referrals and service authorizations; submit forms via MCO portals.
• Communicate with families, providers, and insurance partners to support client care.
