Job summary

Associated Students is seeking a part-time Climbing Wall Attendant Level 1 to supervise the climbing wall during open hours, provide safety orientations, assist with belay classes and route setting, and support team-building activities.

You will check in participants, manage equipment, and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment while collaborating with Aztec Recreation staff and other students.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at SDSU at least half time (6 undergrad/3 grad).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• ARC First Aid and CPR/AED certifications required.
• ARC climbing wall top rope belay certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise climbing wall during open hours.
• Give safety orientations and assist belay classes.
• Assist with route setting and team building activities.
• Maintain safe, clean facility and document incidents.
• Assist with equipment checkouts and check-ins.
