Job summary

Talbots is seeking a part-time store associate in Gainesville, FL to deliver exceptional customer experiences and build lasting relationships. You will drive sales through clienteling, appointments, and brand initiatives while maintaining a polished store presence and contributing to community events.

Ideal candidates are flexible, with strong communication skills, and comfortable working a varied schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong clienteling and prospecting skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Open availability 20–29 hours per week.
• Able to work in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships.
• Support service enhancers to build strong relationships including Concierge usage.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key areas: clientelling, outreach, appointments, Talbots Classic Awards.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs.
• Understand customer needs and wants through curious, confident conversation.
• Share product and fashion trends to wardrobe customers and build trust.
• Participate in community/store events to promote the Talbots brand.
• Represent the brand image professionally.
