Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Fraser Valley in Carol Stream, IL, is seeking a part-time janitorial assistant to create cleaner and healthier environments for our customers' buildings and grounds by performing routine cleaning tasks. The position runs Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 9:00am, with on‑the‑job training, opportunities for advancement, and a positive, team‑oriented work climate.

Candidates must be able to read cleaning instructions and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian/janitor/housekeeper is a plus but not required.
• Experience with a professional janitorial company or facilities is a plus.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties for facilities using provided products and procedures.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, empty trash, clean windows and move furniture as needed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and use PPE as required.
• Open/close facilities and operate security systems as required.
