Job summary

A&A Maintenance Enterprise, Inc. in New London, CT is seeking a part-time janitorial role to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep facilities safe and presentable after hours.

The position covers restroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, window and surface cleaning, and strict adherence to chemical cleaners and safety procedures. 2nd shift runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliance use to prevent hazards.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
