Job summary

Arkansas State University-Beebe is seeking a part-time classroom aide to support the Regional Career Center and Career Education Divisions on the Searcy Campus. You will monitor classroom and shop activities to ensure safety and assist the instructor with attendance, handouts, and tests as needed.

Responsibilities include supervising students during breaks and after class, and ensuring students are accounted for during bus pickup. Safety glasses must be worn in shop areas at all times.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor classroom and shop activities to ensure safety practices are followed.
• Assist the instructor with attendance, making copies of handouts or tests for students.
• Monitor students during breaks to ensure they don’t leave the classroom or lab area.
• Monitor bus pickup area after class to ensure all students are accounted for before the bus leaves campus.
• Must wear safety glasses at all times while in the shop areas of the class.
