Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering Technology, Geomatics Technology, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, or related field.
• Relevant professional or technical experience in civil engineering, surveying, geomatics, GIS/GNSS, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach assigned Civil Engineering Technology, Geomatics Technology, and related courses.
• Provide classroom, laboratory, computer-based, and field instruction.
• Demonstrate proper use of surveying instruments, engineering equipment, software, and tools.
• Maintain up-to-date syllabi, instructional materials, labs, field activities, and resources.
• Teach in seated, hybrid, or online formats including day, evening, weekend, and summer sessions.
• Maintain a safe instructional environment and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records; submit reports timely.
• Utilize LMS and instructional technologies to support learning.
• Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintain current knowledge of civil engineering, surveying, geomatics, and related technologies.
• Communicate professionally with students, faculty, staff, and partners.
• Attend departmental meetings and professional development.
