Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance seeks a Christian Youth Worker to join our After School team, guiding elementary students in enrichment activities and fostering development in a faith-centered setting. This part-time, non-exempt position averages 17-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday after school, with CPR/First Aid certification required and a background check.

Candidates should be 17+, hold a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid ID/driver's license, and be able to work in the United

Qualifications

  • Agree with Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
  • Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
  • Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
  • Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
  • Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
  • Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
  • Legally allowed to work in the United States
  • Have dependable transportation
  • Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
