Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance is seeking a Part Time Child Care Worker to support after-school enrichment for elementary students. You will help lead activities, foster youth development, and serve as a positive role model in a faith-based community. This non-exempt, part-time role runs roughly 17-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m.

to 6:00 p.m. CPR/First Aid certification is required, and a background check will be completed.

Qualifications

• Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued

• Support the mission by acting as a Minister of the Gospel in practice
