Job summary

Right At School is hiring an Educator to support before- and after-school programs in our Washington locations. The role involves leading daily activities, ensuring safety, and delivering engaging enrichment aligned with program goals.

Schedule is a split shift, with mornings and afternoons based on program needs. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, and demonstrate customer-service orientation, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Before School Shift: 6:30am-9:30am (M: 6:30am-10:30am) and After School Shift: 3:45pm-6pm

Actual schedule will be based off needs of the programs Right At School – a place to be a kid!

Educator Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students!

• Daily Program Meetings: Each day, review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives. Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum; that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Leading by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children are enjoying themselves while also meeting program goals. You will achieve this by modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols. These may include documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
• Communication: Effective communication with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Ability to meet state-specific requirements;
• First Aid and CPR-in-person
• Cleared tuberculosis test
