Job summary

Care.com is seeking a part-time caregiver to provide in-home childcare for multiple families in your area. You will create a safe, nurturing environment and be placed in jobs based on your location and availability.

Responsibilities include intro calls with families, caring for children for approx. 8 hours, following parents' schedules, and light household duties. Benefits include weekly pay and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Available at least 1 weekday with 8 consecutive hours (6am–8pm).
• Related childcare experience required.
• Reliable transportation; willing to travel up to 15 miles.
• CPR/First Aid certification required before start (reimbursed).
• Comfort with app-based tools and devices.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in families' homes for typical 8-hour days.
• Conduct introductory calls with each booked family.
• Follow the schedule and family rules.
• Complete light household tasks related to care (cleanup, dishes, activities).
