The Excel Center is seeking a part-time Childcare Attendant for the Young Learners Childcare Center (YLCC) in Indianapolis. You will assist in safely caring for children up to age 12, support snack time, and facilitate learning opportunities while students study on-site or in class.

Ideal candidates will have some education in child development, CPR certification or willingness to obtain, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Pass pre-employment background screening.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates hands-on interactive learning experiences with students.
• Assists in the registration process of students.
• Updates and ensures accuracy of student files.
• Maintains regular communication with parents regarding services.
• Aids in achieving short- and long-term goals for the center.
• Contributes ideas for curriculum development and activities.
• Participates in regular team meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
