Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a part-time Childbirth Educator to teach childbirth education classes and assist in program development. The role serves as a community resource within Women’s Health Services. Candidates must have an accredited BSN, current IN or compact RN license, at least one year of Mother/Baby or Labor Unit experience, and one year of teaching experience. This 24-hour-per-week, 2nd-shift role is benefit eligible. Located near downtown Louisville.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• RN license in IN or Compact required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience on Mother/Baby or Labor Unit.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach childbirth education classes as directed.
• Assist in development and evaluation of childbirth education programs.
• Serve as a childbirth education resource to the community.
