Lafayette Club 24 LLC is seeking a part-time childcare assistant to supervise and care for children in a small setting in Lafayette, LA. The role requires high school education and current infant/child CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.

Responsibilities include greeting families, assisting children with tasks, organizing activities, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of play areas. Flexible shifts are available, with multiple time blocks throughout the week.

Qualifications

• Capable of taking, listening, watching, and interacting with various age groups of children for various periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet children and parents/members when they arrive.
• Assist children and babies with daily tasks.
• Contact parent/member when a diaper needs to be changed.
• Organize and initiate playtime activities.
• Monitor and control the behavior of the children.
• Organize, store, and sanitize all play equipment daily.
