We have 2 children (Benjy, 10, and Hudson, 7). Both are in school from 7:30 am until 2:30 pm. We are looking for a fun-loving part-time helper, child care provider or sitter on Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons, and, if possible, additional early afternoons to walk dogs and do light housework. Responsibilities would include picking up the 1st grader from the nearby area, taking them to activities, helping with homework, reading, going to the park, and providing snacks. Sometimes assembling dinner. The boys are good listeners and have connected well with UW students in the past. We are a kind and low-key family. I work full time as a physician at UW and my husband travels for work. We have two small dogs who would enjoy a walk if you want more hours. Additional duties could include laundry or grocery shopping depending on need. We are looking for someone who can truly be part of our family. Pay would start at $22/hour and be flexible.
