Part-Time Charge Registered Nurse – one shift a week (7pm–7:30am).

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the healthcare delivery system in the assigned unit, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments, monitor nursing services, maintain accurate records, and propose corrective actions as needed.
• Assist with staff orientation, training, and evaluations, and coordinate staffing levels to meet contractual requirements.
• Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance of the unit, and maintain appropriate levels of medical equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere and attend monthly staff meetings as directed by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.
• Provide direct supervision of patient teaching and ensure ancillary personnel only perform services for which they are qualified.
• Accountable for overall quality of patient care in the assigned unit.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Experience:

• Prefer a minimum of one-year clinical experience.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
• Current CPR Certification.

Additional Details

One shift a week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
