Martha & Mary in Poulsbo, WA is seeking a Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to residents, families and staff. This part-time, temporary role emphasizes compassionate care, confidentiality and respectful practice within a mission‑driven environment.

You will lead chapel services, coordinate programs, collaborate with local churches and community organizations, and support volunteers in worship and spiritual activities, according to residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Chaplain or Pastor license required.
• Master's degree in Divinity preferred.
• Experience in pastoral/spiritual care role.
• Compassionate, approachable personality with seniors.
• Strong communication, listening, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Responsabilités

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to residents, families, and staff.
• Lead chapel services, Bible studies, memorial services, and other spiritual programs.
• Partner with local churches, pastors, and community organizations to support residents' spiritual needs.
• Coordinate and support volunteers who assist with worship services, music, and spiritual activities.
• Encourage resident participation in meaningful activities, including our woodshop and Art & You programs.
• Collaborate with our nursing, resident life, and leadership teams to support the overall well-being of those we serve.
