Qualifications

• Masters Theological degree from an accredited seminary.
• Minimum of four units Clinical Pastoral Education.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of working experience in a healthcare setting.
• Endorsement by a faith community within 1 year of hire.
• Unrestricted driver’s license for travel.
• Board Certification or certification-eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support, spiritual counsel, and comfort to patients.
• Engage in interdisciplinary patient care.
• Promote a healing environment and participate in educational programs.
• Document patient care encounters in medical records.
• Participate in advance care planning.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

1 year EMR documentation experience
