145 The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Inc (MCCG) seeks a Part-time Chaplain to provide spiritual care and consultation across the hospital setting in Georgia. The role includes on-call coverage, involvement in codes and emergencies, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support patients, families, and staff.

Qualified applicants will have a graduate degree in religious studies or theology (MA/MDiv), ACPE-endorsed CPE, and eligibility for national chaplain certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in religious studies, theology, divinity, or related field.
• Must complete 4 units of CPE; ACPE accreditation preferred.
• Eligible for board certification as chaplain (APC/BCCI, NACC, NAJC).

Responsibilities

• Provide wholistic spiritual care to patients, families, staff and physicians.
• Respond to codes, emergencies, and crises; participate in rounds and committees.
• Mentor students in clinical pastoral education and support department goals.
• Contribute to education, crisis support, and debriefings as part of the hospital ministry.
