Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary group and interfaith setting
• Strong listening and communication abilities with clients, employees and families
• Spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian values
• Diplomacy and courtesy with diverse groups; excellent customer service
• Excellent oral and written communication; emotional stability for stressful situations
• Analytical skills to identify solutions and follow up on objectives
• Proficient with Google Suites, Microsoft Office, and basic tech
• Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance (where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Serve as a messenger of faith, mission, and purpose to employees and families
• Conduct regular visits to worksites to build trust and relationships
• Provide confidential pastoral conversations and referrals as needed
• Assist in planning, conducting or attending funerals and bereavement support
• Make hospital, nursing home, or home visits to provide care
• Respond to serious life events and coordinate support services
• Support new employee orientation with Employee Care Service
• Engage with executive leadership to address company needs within policy
