Marketplace Chaplains is seeking a part‑time Chaplain to serve Sacramento area client companies. The role involves providing confidential pastoral care to employees and their families, visiting worksites regularly, and coordinating support during life events and transitions.

The Chaplain will work in an interfaith environment, engaging with diverse teams, and will assist with funerals, grief support, and employee orientation.

Qualifications

• Active state driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and interfaith setting.

• Spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian ministry.

• Proficiency with technology and Google/Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Serves as messenger of faith, mission, and purpose.
• Interacts with companies, employees, and community with character.
• Gives brief visits to worksites weekly to build trust with employees.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions for issues of employees and families.
• Assists in planning or attending funerals and supports grief recovery.
• Provides post-termination care to employees.
• Responds to duties requested by leadership within agreement scope.
• Represents companies to clients when ministry services are appropriate.
• Participates in new employee orientation about Employee Care Service.
