GreatGood Venture Lab, a biotech-focused research and venture incubation hub, seeks a Part-Time CFO to lead licensing and structuring efforts remotely in the US. The role emphasizes negotiating IP deals, building NewCo models, and ensuring clean deal execution to enable spinouts.

You will work across multiple ventures, collaborating with legal on cap tables and milestone triggers, and developing financial architectures for investor materials and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Licensing Strategy: Lead or advise on negotiation of IP licensing deals, including partnerships with large biopharma.
• Venture Structuring: Design cap tables, milestone triggers, and founder equity aligned with the venture studio thesis.
• Financial Modeling: Build or audit models mapping cash requirements, valuation trajectories, and licensing economics.
• Investor Readiness: Prepare diligence materials focusing on financial architecture and deal structure.

Responsibilities

• Licensing Strategy: Lead or advise on negotiation of IP licensing deals (exclusive, option-based, milestone-driven, etc.), including partnerships with large biopharma.
• Venture Structuring: Collaborate with legal to design cap tables, milestone triggers, and founder equity aligned with the venture studio thesis.
• Financial Modeling: Build or audit financial models to map cash requirements, valuation trajectories, and licensing economics.
• Investor Readiness: Support diligence and preparation of fundraising and strategicpharma partnership materials, with a focus on financial architecture and deal structure.
