Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Part-Time Certificated Flight Instructor to guide students through Part 61/141 training, including Private, Instrument, and Commercial tracks. You will be responsible for guiding students through the training process, keeping syllabi up to date, and performing occasional clerical duties alongside flight instruction.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend Part 61 and Part 141 training processes and FAA Airman Certification Standards.
• Ability to safely perform flight instruction duties in training aircraft.
• Current FAA CFI certificate and Flight Review are required.
• Current 1st, 2nd, or 3rd class Medical Certificate is required.
• Instrument Instructor (CFII) is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts ground and flight training operations with private, instrument, and commercial pilot students.
• Safely operates training aircraft in compliance with SOPs and FAA regs.
• Coordinates the flight training schedule with students and staff in compliance with scheduling policies.
• Provides and maintains records of necessary pilot endorsements for TSA and FAA.
• Maintains individual student records needed for student billing and tracking.
• Sets work schedules that align with the student's schedule.
