Job summary

Asirus is seeking a certified real estate appraiser for a part-time role in Chicago, IL. You will inspect properties, analyze market trends, and prepare detailed appraisal reports in accordance with industry standards.

The position requires a valid license, 5+ years of residential appraisal experience, and strong communication skills. You will work both independently and with a team, travel for inspections, and stay current on real estate trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field.
• Certified real estate appraiser in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years experience completing residential appraisal assignments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with appraisal software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to different locations for property inspections.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and gather data from property stakeholders
• Analyze and evaluate market trends and conditions to determine property values
• Produce accurate and detailed appraisal reports in compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Maintain current knowledge of real estate trends and industry regulations
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Participate in company training programs and stay up to date with industry best practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality appraisals and client satisfaction
