Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
• Current, unrestricted Arizona Pharmacy Technician License essential.
• Must hold National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB).

Responsibilities

• Maintain pharmacy stock, monitor inventory levels, and order medications.
• Complete billing procedures and ensure accurate patient billing documentation.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
• Accurately record medication dispensing and scan/label barcodes.
• Monitor medication administration records and report potential errors.
• Maintain pharmacy records, reports, and documentation.

Skills

Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication labeling, and dispensing procedures

Understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and data entry

Basic computer and software proficiency

Education
