Job summary

Breckenridge Commons in Sullivan, Indiana, is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants to join our care team. CNAs will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to perform basic nursing tasks per the plan of care and assist residents with activities of daily living.

The ideal candidate is a CNA or in an approved training program, able to observe and report changes, document care, and follow Magnolia Health Systems guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or enrolled in a state-recognized CNA training program.
• Must display patience and tact when interacting with residents and staff.
• Must have good emotional health and be able to stand, bend and lift for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in residents’ health status to the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care).
• Follow instructions and complete records under supervision.
• Document all care given and observations made while providing care.
• Adhere to Magnolia Health Systems guidelines for patient care.
