Job summary

Masonic Village Assisted Living in New Jersey is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to administer medications safely and compassionately to residents. The role supports daily care under licensed staff, follows physician orders, and ensures accurate documentation and secure medication handling.

This part-time/per-diem opportunity offers shifts 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, 11PM-7PM with daily pay options and an inclusive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Medication Technician/Aide Certification in New Jersey.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA/HHA) as required.
• Previous CMA experience preferred.
• Experience with oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic meds and subcutaneous injections.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical instructions.
• Ability to work with multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per orders and policies.
• Provide medications via multiple routes as permitted by certification.
• Observe and document residents' responses and report changes promptly.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed staff.
• Ensure medications are stored, secured, and accounted for.
• Maintain timely documentation of all medication activities and care.
